The firm was set up in January 2019 primarily by Saheran Suhendran, Lynette Yeow and Sanjay Mohanasundram, all of whom had more than 25 years of legal expertise and experience in civil, commercial, corporate, restructuring & insolvency, construction & engineering litigation and arbitration. The firm has grown rapidly since then and our lawyers are very experienced in these areas of law and have been involved in a number of significant cases. Our senior lawyers are considered leaders in their respective fields and have been widely recognised for their expertise by various legal publications and rankings.

In addition to our expertise in civil, commercial and construction related disputes, we have also developed a parallel expertise in project related disputes, joint venture projects, energy and insurance related disputes.

Making full use of the experience that we gain from our core dispute-centric practice, we have since developed our expertise in project and infrastructure documentation work and advisory services.  We are now truly a one-stop solution provider who has the expertise to cover the entire project lifecycle from inception (pre-bid, tendering and contracting), then to implementation (project execution advisory and risk management), and finally to closure (project completion and dispute resolution).  Our extensive experience in each of these stages provides the ideal synergy and seamlessness that enable us to provide a holistic approach when delivering our services.  We pride ourselves in delivering advice, services and solutions to our clients, which are professional, precise, prompt, proactive and practical.

With the constant addition of new members to the firm, the firm also now possesses in-depth knowledge and capability on various aspects of technology, telecommunication and intellectual property matters.

We regularly appear in the Malaysian Courts dealing with all manner of litigation. Our practice is structured such that in any matter we have a team of lawyers involved in each dispute. Our lawyers also regularly appear in the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court.

Apart from appearing regularly in the Malaysian Courts, we have a very active arbitration and adjudication practice. Our lawyers have conducted more than 100 arbitrations domestically and internationally and more than 100 adjudications. In addition to construction related arbitration disputes, we are experienced in energy related disputes. Our expertise includes power plants, biofuel and oil and gas related disputes. In terms of non-construction arbitrations, we have been involved in disputes concerning shareholders agreements, supply agreements, logistic agreement, breach of technology agreements, commercial disputes, software implementation disputes and geo-mapping disputes.

Our experience in international arbitration includes having to deal with and appear in arbitrations conducted in Singapore, India, Dubai, London and China under various arbitration rules. With the experience and expertise that we have, it is our belief that we are in a strategic position to provide superior value proposition to our clients in international arbitrations without any compromise in quality.
